HIGH PERFORMANCE ALUMINUM MASTER CYLINDER AND PROPORTIONING VALVE (AMCPVS)

HIGH PERFORMANCE ALUMINUM MASTER CYLINDER AND PROPORTIONING VALVE

The engineers at Performance Online, Inc. (POL) have introduced a new direction to their expanding product line, their new all aluminum master cylinder and proportioning valve kit. These master cylinders are designed after the popular corvette style units used by many today. POL’s master cylinder is available in 1.00” bore diameter and weighs 8lbs less than a comparable kit made of cast iron. Along with the weight savings you gain added performance and decrease stresses that occur when using an old style heavy iron master. To add another point of interest, these master cylinders are put through an added process unique to Performance Online Inc. Each master cylinder, when completing the machine process is then sent to our machine shop for the burnishing process. Burnishing the cylinder wall removes and/or greatly reduces burrs, imperfections and micro machining chatter marks that occur in all machine processes. It also makes for a straighter cylinder wall. Most of all other manufacturers skip this process to reduce cost and see up to 60% failure rate because the piston seals can not seat properly. To top off this kit, POL’s proportioning valves are hard anodized to increase longevity, have correct spring rates per GM specs, and each valve is pressure tested prior to being released for sale. All other manufacturers do not do any of the prior mentioned steps. Look for these items to not only be sold individually, but to be added as a “standard” to all of Performance Online’s manual and power disc brake conversions, at no extra cost!
