Our 1947-59 Chevy Truck GMC Truck Heavy Duty Steering Tie Rod is recommended when running power steering, or for those wanting to strengthen the original straight axle steering. Combined with our aftermarket tie rod ends, front end steering deflection is eliminated and vehicle holds alignment settings which increases performance and reduces tire wear. 1" diameter tie rod reduces deflection caused by power steering systems. Works great with our aftermarket replacement tie rod ends.
