These new Currie Enterprises Crate Rear Ends Feature the 9-Plus notch back heavy duty housing and 31 spline performance axle package built to the stock overall width and pinion offset specs. of the vehicle. All stock suspension brackets are installed in the stock location for an easy bolt in installation, and urethane upper control arm bushings are installed in the upper control arm housing brackets. Housing includes all 3rd. member studs installed and the Torino style late model large bearing housing ends. Axles include the stock 5 on 4 3/4” wheel bolt pattern drilled in them, wheel studs installed, ¼” thick heavy duty bearing retainer plates, and tapered Timken style wheel bearings pressed on. This unit will allow for the use of any ABCS brake kit including the 11” drum brakes, 11” Ford Explorer disc brakes, or Wilwood disc brakes.

Notes:

64-66 Chevelles had a flat style spring pad on the housing which was used up to early 67. This housing may be used in your 67, but you must first check the spring pad type to make sure it is the right one for your vehicle.
Crate Rear end housings will not work with RideTech bolt on suspension system due to shock mount location. Contact your one of our salesmen to have a housing built that will work with the RideTech system.
