Our 1947-59 Chevy Truck and GMC Truck Tapered Roller wheel bearing conversion kit is used to convert the old style wheel ball bearings to the much more advanced tapered roller bearing. Replaces the New Departure 909702 inner wheel bearing. Tapered roller bearings control side loads better and disperse heat quicker than the old original ball bearings. We highly recommend this kit for your original straight axle front end. Great for use with our 1947-59 6-lug disc brake conversion kit.
