BlackOut Series Brakes

Performance Online introduced the BlackOut Series power brake conversion in 2013 after a simple mishap from one of our parts plating company's. We received black powder coated 9" single diaphragm power booster housings. Originally to be zinc plated, this put us in a bind. We had several customers call us checking status of their orders. When our sales staff advised them there would be a delay because the housings were accidentally powder coated black, many told us they would prefer them black. It was through this mishap that a customer asked if we could put a black Wilwood master cylinder and Black Out proportioning valve on the black powder coated power booster stating that, "Wilwood does not and did not plan to do any power brake system at the time". The BlackOut Series was born. Since that autumn day in 2013 we have expanded the product line to include the hydro boost and many different disc brake conversions. We have even had a call for the BlackOut series classic truck 4-link systems which we now offer.
