These firewall mount power brake booster kits are made to allow extra clearance of valve cover combinations. It's also made to be more of a compact unit. Gives a braking feel more comparable to todays vehicles due to swing pedal design. Once this assembly is installed it has a triangular setup making it extremely stable.
